About Orlagh Kenny
Orlagh is a pre-accredited psychotherapist based in Dublin, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from IICP Tallaght. She is pre-accredited with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and is committed to providing a supportive, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic space.
Her approach is integrative and tailored to each individual, recognising that every client’s experience and needs are unique. Orlagh draws from a range of therapeutic modalities, including person-centred therapy, choice theory, internal family systems, attachment theory, and elements of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). She works flexibly, adapting her approach in response to each client’s goals and personal journey.
Orlagh places particular emphasis on exploring early life experiences and how these may shape present patterns, while also incorporating a strong awareness of the mind-body connection. She integrates somatic perspectives into her work, supporting clients in understanding how emotions and experiences can be held within the body, alongside more traditional talk therapy approaches.
In addition to her psychotherapy training, Orlagh is a qualified yoga teacher and may incorporate mindfulness and meditation practices where appropriate. This allows her to support clients in developing greater self-awareness, grounding, and emotional regulation.
Orlagh aims to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore their inner world at their own pace.
