About Diane O’Brien
Diane is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and holds a BA and MSc in Pluralistic Counselling & Psychotherapy. Working with adult individuals and couples, Diane uses an integrative approach, drawing on various therapeutic techniques, such as ACT, CBT, Reality Therapy, Person Centred Therapy, and Pluralistic Therapy, to tailor therapy to each client’s specific needs. Diane places great emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and aims to create a warm, supportive, safe, judgment-free environment where clients can feel truly seen and heard. Diane works with clients who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, suicidal ideation, family conflict and stress. Diane will move gently through each client’s difficulties, building self-awareness and creating meaningful lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
