About Deborah McDonnell
I am a pre-accredited integrative psychotherapist and a registered member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). My approach is integrative; I draw on a range of therapeutic models to tailor therapy to each individual’s unique needs. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing, and I work collaboratively with clients to explore the difficulties they are facing while building on their strengths and resilience.
I support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, stress, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. I also work with clients who wish to develop greater self-awareness, healthier boundaries, and more fulfilling relationships.
My style is compassionate, grounded, and genuine. I understand that beginning therapy can feel daunting, so I place great importance on creating a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship in which clients feel comfortable exploring whatever is bringing them to therapy.
I am committed to ethical practice, ongoing professional development, and providing therapy that is respectful, inclusive, and sensitive to each person’s lived experience.
Seeking support is a courageous first step. If you are considering therapy, reach out.
