About June Byrne
June is a third-year trainee psychotherapist and counsellor, currently nearing the completion of
her training. She works within a pluralistic framework, recognising the value of adapting the
therapeutic approach to meet each client’s individual needs and preferences.
June incorporates person-centred counselling and motivational interviewing in her work and
approaches, and may also draw on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques where
appropriate and in line with the client’s wishes. Her practice is grounded in collaboration,
respect, and the importance of the therapeutic relationship.
As a trainee therapist, June is committed to ethical practice and ongoing professional development
development and works within the limits of her training while receiving regular clinical
supervision in accordance with IACP placement requirements.
